I will continue to fulfil promises, says Abdullah

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi has assured the people that he will continue to attend to their needs and provide the best for them.

"I will continue to fulfil what I have promised to do for the people", he said. He said the Government was prepared to listen to the people, as we are not 100% perfect. We will correct our weaknesses. What I want is for the people to work together with me and be with me. I will work together with them.

"This comes from my heart", he said when speaking at a meet-the-people session at the Taman Ria Jaya field here yesterday. He said the Government had always showed concern for the people's welfare by providing subsidies for housing, education, health care, transportation and basic amenities. The comforts and good life that all of us enjoy today did not just come from nowhere. full story
