PUTRAJAYA: Response to the Prime Minister’s website www.warkahuntukpm.com.my has been overwhelming with close to 2,500 messages sent by the public.
Education, price increases, crime and immigration matters were among the main issues raised.
Chief Secretary to the Government Tan Sri Sidek Hassan said crime and rising prices would be dealt with first.
After reading the feedback, he said, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi instructed the Inspector-General of Police and his deputy to investigate crime matters immediately.
Sidek said people also sought improved service delivery at local councils; better frontline agencies; customer-focused officials; and accountability in the public service.
